SAMURAI San Diego Tryout for Season 2012

SAMURAI San Diego is holding the team tryout on May 25th and 26th in San Diego.

 

Date: May 25th 5:00 p.m.-

           May 26th 10:00 a.m.-
Place: Alliant University Baseball Field (10455 Pomerado Road, San Diego, CA 92131) 

Fee: FREE

Season 2012

League: Western Baseball Association Summer League

Term: 2012 June27 - July 30 (20-25 games total)

   *WBA tournament champion team will be qualified for participating NBC World Series, August 1-13th.

Roster: 35 players

Eligibility Requirements:  18-25 years old, baseball experience in collegiate baseball league(s).

 

 

Team players' stats goes to teams in Japan Professional league, and team can help you to find a pro-team in Japan.

Until you sign a contract with a team in Japan, the marketing fee is no charge. "Marketing" includes searching a team, negotiating with a team on playing compensation, trainslating into English.

Welcome to SAMURAI SAN DIEGO's website!

Newly established in 2011 as a member of Western Baseball Association, SAMURAI San Diego Baseball Team consists of all Japanese collegiate adn former pro-players. We recruit players whose love of baseball run deep and is not diminished by distance. All of them are the torch bearers of the team's history that will begin from the summer of 2011.

 

Members of the current SAMURAI San Diego Baseball Team could be the next Ichiro, and some of Japan's best professional baseball prospects will call San Diego their home in summer.

 

SAMURAI Baseball Team was founded in 2011 striving to help players achieve their full potential in life and to learn the key to winning: hard work, dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. We value respect for our teammates, our coaches, our families, and the great game of baseball.

 

Our goal is to support players' development and personal growth as an individual and as a baseball player.

 

The vision for SAMURAI Baseball Team began in 2009. We exist to advance professional baseball prospects towards their futures in professional baseball, while prviding them the structure and guidance to return to their respective colleges - as better students, better citizens and as better players.
